Walls are skin deep
The beauty is in the eye of the beholder
The beholder is absent from school.
We take roll every day
The beholder doesn't show up.
All there is ugliness spewing from the sinks.
Ugliness flowing from the fountain that is gossip, and cliques
The beholder is absent because there is no beauty in this beauty school.
The beholder has to see that either all of us or none of us are beautiful. In fact, we're all quite hideous.
When it makes its appearance everyone hides
they try to hid under good looks and popularity.
The beholder gawks at the transparency of the hidden.
Not even their opaque illusions could deny the beholder's eye of reality and truth.
The beholder left school that day
Nothing was left of egos after then, everyone was grim
for hiding behind false beauty, for them no beauty labels were left
but for two girls, they were smiling.
They were opaque when everyone was transparent.
The beholder just looked in to their eyes and said, "You're beautiful."
